Touching People

   What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger?

 

 If he came up to me with a random stranger i would totally take the picture with him/her because it would be a fun experience. I mean its just touching them its not a big deal. i mean think about it your best friend was once a stranger, as was your girlfriend or wife. By taking a photo with a stranger could lead up to conversation with them. that could lead you to love or an amazing friendship. You just have to be open minded about it.

   

What do you think about this project and photo essay?

this is quit an interesting project because it gets to show you many things about people like for example in one of the photos you can see that both people are uncomfortable with touching each other it shows though the facial expression and also in their body language. in a different photo it shows that both strangers are okay with it and the look so comfortable with each other its almost like they where best friends by the the way their faces and their bodies where relaxed. 

 

Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.

 

i think it would be fun to do a project completely opposite  to this one like instead of strangers touching, we have best friends or lovers looking like strangers. it would be fun i mean its just as hard to look like friends for strangers as it is for strangers to look like friends.

Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, are the photos good? Do you like looking at them?

 

to be honest i really didn't like a few of the photos the people were so emotionless it was sad i mean the could have had so much more fun with a project like this. counting the fact that it will be published into a book the people are going to be seen as emotionless rocks. but a few where quit nice i liked them alot because both people where okay with touching each other. it made the photos that much more fun to watch
